Local Ministry Partner

Respond to the border crisis by serving at the welcoming center for legally approved asylum seekers at Oaklawn UMC. You will help make sure they know they are safe, free and welcome in this country. With the community's help, we are able to provide clothing, food, a space to rest, assistance with travel arrangements, medical assistance, a know-your-rights workshop and transportation to the airport. Please consider ways that you might be called to join us in this effort.

Snacks for Wesley Rankin

Wesley-Rankin believes in education and caring relationships. Through their work in West Dallas, they know that community transformation takes place when we are able to open our hearts to the fact that we all have something to teach and learn. At this Center of Community, they welcome diversity, sharing and the common work for equity.
