New to Lovers Lane Students?

Every adult who signs up to serve as a Student Leader completes MinistrySafe training and a background check to ensure your student’s safety. These adults are thoroughly vetted and deeply passionate about helping your student navigate life and faith.

We know the middle school and high school years can be complicated. Students are growing up fast and need a place where they can learn how God sees them. Our goal is to create a community where every student knows they matter and belong and can form deep friendships with others who will encourage them in their faith journey.

Our student center is located at Entrance D of the Christ Fellowship Center or CFC. If you can’t find it, one of our pastors or volunteers will be happy to assist you!

At our Welcome Center, a Guest Services teammate will help you register your student and take them to their assigned room. To register your student, we’ll need some information, including a family member's name, your student's name, current grade, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We'll be with you every step of the way.

While we value the power of being connected to Christ-centered relationships, we aren’t licensed counselors. Please connect with Mackenzie Johnson, Director of Student Ministry, at  and we’ll help you find a local mental health professional.

Serving on Sundays

One of the most rewarding and important steps in your faith journey is finding a place to serve in the community of faith. Everyone is gifted in unique ways and given gifts in building the Kingdom of God, and we would love to help you find your place of service. We encourage students to attend worship at our modern service Thrive or serve at 9:30 am on Sundays.

Students can serve on the A/V Production, Hospitality, or Kid's Ministry Team.

Confirmation - Starting Spring 2025

United Methodists use the term "confirmation" to mark the first time a baptized Christian publicly "confirms" their intention to live the vows of the baptismal and membership covenant and so becomes a professing member of the local congregation and The United Methodist Church. Each year, we have student Confirmation classes for any youth who desires to be confirmed in the United Methodist Church.

Contact us for more information about our next scheduled Confirmation class.
