Our ministry team loves all kids and their parents! It is our desire to create a place for you and your family to be equipped to do life together in a way that is pleasing to Jesus. As you look through the pages of our website, we hope you will get a picture of who we are and what we do, both on Sundays and throughout the week; and discover how you can plug your family into the Lovers Lane Family.
Praying Daily for Another Family
Connecting with others has never been more challenging, nor more rewarding or important than it is for us now. By signing up, the Family Ministry team will prayerfully partner your family with another church family. You will receive your partner family's name and contact information, and we ask that your families will commit to pray for one another each day during the season of Lent. (Ash Wednesday, February 17- Easter Sunday, April 3)
How you choose to encourage your Family Friends is up to you, but the most important commitment you will make to one another is your commitment to pray for one another.
We believe prayer can be an offering of great love for our friends. Prayer also changes us and moves us to love others the way Jesus loves others. Our hope is that there will be opportunities for this experience to be both kid-led and parent-led, and we trust that it will also be wonderfully Spirit-led.
Each Sunday, new videos are posted to help your child explore the story and the lesson for the week. We believe that children experience God through play, wonder, story, prayer, and blessing, and you will find these elements in each lesson. Reflection ideas for your family to continue the conversation throughout the week are also available. We hope to help create the space for your child to experience God and grow in the grace of Jesus Christ.
At this time due to Covid-19, our campus is closed for programming, but we are not as a ministry!
Check-out the resource page for Sunday School lessons, other videos, and curriculum to help you kids and families grow in faith while we are apart.
