The Psalms have been used as a prayer book for God’s people for thousands of years and include the totality of the human experience. From lament to praise, thanksgiving to confession, the Psalms sum up what it is to be human before God. In the next four weeks we will read through four Psalms that define our human experience: Joy, Trust, Lament, and Thanksgiving. This week, we will begin with Psalm 16.
