What Is Confirmation?
A Season of Questions & Growth
In the United Methodist Church, Confirmation is a sacred season where young people learn, grow, and take ownership of their spiritual journey. It's a chance to ask questions, wrestle with doubt, and discover the depth of God's love.
With the support of mentors and peers, students prepare to claim their faith and commit to the life of the Church — not because it's expected of them, but because it's truly their own.
Logistics
Who, When & Where
WHO
7th Grade & Up
Open to any student 7th grade or older who hasn't yet completed Confirmation — new to Lovers Lane or a lifelong member.
WHEN
Sundays at 9:30 am
Class begins in September 2026 and runs through the school year.
WHERE
The Student Center at The Spire
After class, students join the rest of Student Ministry for hangout, worship, and lunch.
