Her Voice: Songs of Courage, Compassion and Calling

The concert will feature choral repertoire that illuminates the voices of women in the Bible, alongside works by contemporary female composers and lyricists that engage with and reflect upon Biblical texts and Christian theology. Performers in the chamber choir include the staff singers of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, accompanied on organ and piano by Clinton Bray, and conducted by Director of Music Ministry Jimmy Emery. Special guests include soprano Laura Bray, violinist Martha Walvoord, and hornist Gerald Wood.
