Getting married? Congratulations! Before your big day, there are a few things you’ll need to consider:
How do I reserve the church?
Our event coordinator will be happy to help you plan your perfect wedding and select the right venue for you. We have several indoor and outdoor spaces to choose from. Visit our event rental page for more information.
Who will perform my ceremony?
We have numerous pastors on staff who are able to perform your wedding ceremony either on or off-campus. We will do our best to accomodate your wishes. Please contact us to schedule your ceremony.
Are there any other requirements?
Let’s face it: The butterflies are bound to settle and the realistic, day-to-day picture of marriage is, well, hard work! We want you to be equipped for the eventual ups and downs that come with marriage and develop a strong understanding of God’s plan for you and your future spouse. In order to be married at Lovers Lane, four sessions of marriage counseling (either with Lovers Lane pastors or elsewhere) are required. Contact us to schedule your counseling sessions.
What should we expect?
During the sessions, we will discuss a variety of topics, including God’s plan and purposes for marriage, communication skills, intimacy, and conflict resolution. We’ll also help you discover your individual needs, strengths and ways of coping with stress so you can best learn to relate to one another.
Please note that Lovers Lane is an alcohol-free campus. Alcohol is strictly prohibited before, during and after all ceremonies and receptions.
