Visitors

Some people tend to think of going to church for the first time like their first day of junior high at lunch time. Will people look at me funny? Will I fit in? Am I dressed okay?  It’s natural to feel a bit overwhelmed at a church for the first time, but our hope is to get you connected to the right people and plugged into somewhere that fits you best.

All First Time Visitors:                                                                                                                     Please be sure to pick up a first time gift bag at any of our Welcome Centers.  These are gifts provided by the Evangelism Ministry as our way of thanking you for coming.

When you arrive…

Park in any of our various lots and walk on in. Introduce yourself to one of our greeters and help yourself to a free cup of coffee in our Café. The greeters at our Welcome Centers will be able to point you towards any one of our various types of services or to the area for Sunday School or somewhere to drop off your kids!

What is the service like?

That is a good question. We have several different types of services which makes is possible for you to find exactly where you fit in best.  All our services run right at about an hour.  Our traditional services are for those who like a more classic type of worship experience. Our service entitled Crosswalk, is our contemporary service that is for those who like a little rock n’ roll when they worship.

What should I wear?

You can wear a suit, a nice shirt and jeans, or your favorite Cowboys or Rangers shirt with your flip flops. God doesn’t care too much about the outward appearance, so neither do we.

What if I have children?

Great! We have plenty of Sunday School classes or a special Children’s worship, Proclaim, just for them! We also have a great student ministry for those a bit older. Check out their pages to find out more about these two wonderful ministries.
