 Special Needs Ministry to Kids

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” - Matt 5:16

We recognize the value and needs of each person regardless of their physical, mental, or emotional limitations. We strive to offer opportunities for those with disabilities and their families, so that they may rise to the potential for which God created them. Through our programs, we hope to be a church where anyone can come to for acceptance, support, and encouragement.

Night Lights is a program that serves families with special needs in the Dallas area by giving them a respite night from 6 - 10pm on the first & third Fridays of the month. Children with special needs and their siblings are welcome to come and enjoy different activities such as arts & crafts, computer games, a special show, gym time, and much more. Every child is assisted by a volunteer. Children are admitted between the ages of 6mo - 18yrs.  Click here to learn more about Night Lights.

Guiding Lights

Lovers Lane Church strives to create an inclusive environment for all children. Guiding Lights is a program in which an adult volunteer is matched with a special needs in order to aid the child in the classroom during Sunday School, Kidz Worship, Vacation Bible School, midweek programming and other family events planned by our Children’s Ministry.
