Mask Making Kits Available
to Sew at Home

Hundreds of masks have been prepared and shared with Charlton Methodist Hospital staff, patients & visitors, as well as church members and staff, and Dallas Bethlehem Center volunteers. The demand continues with more requested by Christ Foundry, Wesley Rankin, DBC, other healthcare workers, etc.

Mask Making Kits with supplies and directions to make cloth face masks are still available. Each kit has directions, fabric already cut, and ties. You’ll need a sewing machine (not a serger) and basic sewing supplies (thread, pins, iron and scissors). You may keep a few for your family and friends if you return at least half the masks in the kit to be shared with those on the front lines eager for our help. Supplies for small child-size masks are available upon request.

Will you help sew the masks? If you have a kit, will you please return finished masks to the green bin at the church’s Entrance A soon?

Pick up and drop off for the kits is at the church’s Entrance A or a front porch near Preston & LBJ. Contact Wendy Campbell (umw@llumc.org) for details or with any questions. These mask kits are a project of the Bold Women of Lovers Lane. Your help is appreciated!
