Bring Your Bling
The Foundation of LLUMC, the UMW & Methodist Health present the McCormick/Shipp Lectures with guest speaker, pastor, author & breast cancer survivor, Dr. Sheron Patterson. Breast cancer survivors, family & friends are invited to an afternoon of inspiration & hope on June 10 at 4PM. This is Dr. Patterson’s kick off event for A Year of Living & Giving, a fundraising campaign to help low-income women receive mammograms.

Rock the World Vacation Bible School & Christian Adventure Camp

Confirmation
From various curriculum, conferences & churches, we’ve discovered 9 basic & essential truths to the Christian faith. Through weekly teachings, service projects, & outings, our prayer & hope is to radically change each student as they make their faith their own. Attendance at every class is mandatory.

Shine On Funraiser Results
Thanks to all of your love, support and generosity, Rays of Light grossed over $163,000 through their 2012 Shine On! fundraiser! Because of this, they will be able to continue free respite care to DFW children with special needs and extend the invitation to even more families by adding a third Friday of Night Lights this fall. New Orleans Mission Trip: The young adults will be traveling to New Orleans over Memorial Day weekend, May 25-28, to continue with ongoing relief and repair efforts following natural disasters over the past several years.
