In response to our call to “Love all people into relationship with Jesus Christ,”Lovers Lane has an impressive ministry to prisons in North Texas, receiving the Religious Service Governor’s Criminal Justice Volunteers Service Award in 2010. We conduct an Alpha Program at the Powledge Unit in Palestine on Wednesdays and at the Hutchins Unit on Thursdays. Our teams also visit Dawson’s Women’s and Men’s Units on Mondays. Every week we reach over 350 inmates with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have volunteers who have been faithfully serving, two of which are Barbara Fisher and Jeanne Witt, for over 7 years, and we are always looking for more. Prayerfully consider joining in a ministry that exemplifies Gods’ Word, ”I was in prison and you visited me,” and be exceedingly and abundantly blessed.
