History:
The Foundation was established in January 1981 with the purpose of supporting Loves Lane Untied Methodist Church in perpetuity. Over the years the Foundation endowment has grown from its original gift of $250,000 to a diversified portfolio with a value of over $7.5 million. The Foundation portfolio is managed by Luther King Capital Management with oversight from an astute committee of volunteer advisors who comprise the Investments Committee.
Mission:
The Mission of the Foundation is to build and manage a financial cornerstone supporting the Ministry, Outreach and Evangelism of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church.
The Foundation provides its mission through a well-defined grants process that includes the following Restricted Funds that support the church’s ministry, outreach and evangelism: Education, Maintenance and Repairs, Outreach & Mission, Technology, Worship / Music / Fine Arts, Emergency, and Special Requests.
