Starting Over: Divorce Recovery

Every Tuesday evening, 7:30-9:00, CFC (Christ Family Center) 103-105

Starting Over is an ongoing support group for individuals who are experiencing the loss of a significant relationship through separation or divorce.

The primary purpose of this group is to provide an atmosphere of mutual acceptance and support for individuals to share their feelings and experiences. Many people do not understand the pain of divorce and separation. Specially trained facilitators are able to relate because they have undergone much personal growth following their own separation or divorce.

Individuals who attend this group will:

• Encourage one another
• Experience spiritual and emotional personal growth
• Gain an understanding of the basic grief processes
• Learn how to deal with loneliness, anger and depression
• Begin to move on and experience new relationships.

Once a month, a Licensed Professional Counselor leads the group on specific topics. There is no charge to attend this support group and there is no registration required. You may begin on any evening.
