Disciple 1: June 2011-May 2012

Many have wanted to the take Disciple I Bible Study, but could not commit to a 34-week course. Now the class will be offered in 4 sessions with a break between each. 

Session I: June 14 -  July 26, 2011 – Genesis through Judges

Session II: August 23 – October 25 – 1 Samuel through Malachi

Session III: January 10 – February 28, 2012 – Matthew, Mark, Luke-Acts, John.

Session IV: March 27 – May 22, 2012 – All letters of the New Testament

Disciple Bible Study enables spiritual growth as we share a faith journey together through an informational program that focues on transformation.  Led by Rev. Mai Le, Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00 in Oxford 202B.  Register by contacting mle@llumc.org.  Class materials: $50.00.

Disciple 1: September 25,2011 - June 24,2012

DISCIPLE 1 is a 34-week overview of the Bible. Beginning with Genesis and continuing through Revelation, participants will read approximately 80% of the Bible during this life-changing study. Students have daily assignments in the Bible and study manual and they discuss these assignments in their weekly group meeting. Disciple Bible Study is a great opportunity for those who study to grow spiritually as we share a faith journey together through a program based not just on information, but on transformation. This study will be led by Jason and Polly Haley and will meet Sundays from 9:00 - 10:45 am in Epworth 216. Please register with Jason Haley at jhaley@almfirst.com. Class materials are $35.00. 

Alpha

Alpha is under way, but it’s not too late to join! 6:00-7:30 pm in Oxford 200. This 12-week course covers the basics of the Christian faith, & explores the many questions of life in an informal environment with discussion time.
