Become a Disciple of Christ

On Sunday September 18 in the Shepherd’s Garden, Lovers Lane will offer “The Services of the Baptismal Covenant”, in which new persons are initiated into the covenant with God and the community of faith. The sacrament of baptism is the gift of God’s divine grace, available to all who believe, and can be administered by the sprinkling of, pouring of, or immersion in God’s living water. This is also the time when the congregation members remember and reaffirm the gracious work of God in their lives. If anyone desires to baptize a child, take the baptismal sacrament for the first time, reaffirm your baptism, or join the church on this day, please contact Mai Le at mle@llumc.org or call her at 214.706.9634.
